May 09, 2015 I have a solar kiln so I've done a little studying about drying wood. This is a new one on me, but I would think you'd want to keep the temperature under 200F. For solar kilns it's recommended to keep it under 160F (usually under to 140) but, that is for wood drying for possibly weeks.
