Aug 13, 2011 I have mine set at 25 degrees and the chiller happily keeps the loop at this temperature, turning off and on when required. Regarding sizing, to give you an idea, my HC500 is able to cool 2 x GTX570's @ 950Mhz with full cover blocks and a 2500K at 5Ghz. This is about the limit of the chiller though in terms of heat dissipation.

Jan 02, 2021 Hi guys i bought a Hailea 300A chiller for my 6ft2x2 but im not sure its cooling is up to scratch. I only have around 100 gallons in the tank at the moment and have a Sunsun 5000 hooked up to it. I house axolotls and need the temp to be 17-18 degrees but my hailea 300a sometimes takes like 3 hours to reach that temperature from 20 degrees.

Jun 09, 2016 If the air is moving out of the back but its cold then it most likely will be needing to be re-gassed by a refrigeration service. Don't know if Hailea have a regassing port but the refrigeration guys should be able to weld one in it would be cheaper then getting a new chiller.
